Transportation in Toronto - UP Express Train

For newcomers to Canada, transportation in Toronto can be daunting. Fortunately, as soon as you arrive to Pearson airport, you are met with many, easy-to-understand options for transportation to your preferred destination. Union Pearson Express is a train that runs from Pearson Airport to downtown Toronto in just 25 minutes. An Adult one-way fare from Pearson to Union Station is $12.35, or $9.25 with a Presto card. 

Presto Cards are reloadable, contactless smart cards used on participating public transit systems in the province of Ontario, Canada, specifically in Greater Toronto, Hamilton, and Ottawa. Youth and Post-Secondary students save 40% off standard adult fare when using Presto. Children under 12 years of age ride free.

Reaching downtown through transportation 

 There are two main stops in Toronto. You may choose to get off the train at either Bloor Station or Union Station depending on where you’re trying to go.

Bloor Station: 

1456 Bloor Street West, Toronto, ON M6P 4A9. 

Bloor GO Station allow you to connect to Subway Line 2 (Green Line), and you can take Line 2 to go anywhere Downtown Toronto.

Union Station: 

140 Bay St., Toronto, ON M5J 2L5.  

Union station connects with Subway Line 1 (Yellow Line), and you can take Line 1 to anywhere Downtown Toronto.

Please note that Weston Station (1865 Weston Rd, York, ON M9N 1V9) does not take you to downtown Toronto.  

 

UP Express Schedule – Transportation From Pearson to Union

Trains run every 15-minutes, seven days a week. Check the schedules before you travel.  
 

Monday to Friday Transportation  

First train to Union: 5:27 am
Trains running every 15-minutes
Last train to Union: 11:27 pm

Weekend and holiday Transportation

First train to Union: 6:27 am
Trains running every 15 minutes
Last train to Union: 11:27 pm

If you arrive at Terminal 3, you have to go to terminal 1 to take the train.
